The wip (work in progress) zine series is a review of the previous year through film photography. Each January I self publish a new issue of the zine reflecting on the prior year and I construct a loose, personal narrative from the film I have exposed over the year as part of my creative process, whether it is working on projects, or moments from every day life.

2020 was a unique year for everyone. For me, it began with hospitals and surgery, and ended in isolation at the home I share with my immediate family. Photography became a near compulsion as I sorted through emotions related not only to the current year, but years prior as well. This book became a narrative of my experience throughout the pandemic, though as with all of the wip issues, I encourage the viewer to bring their own experiences to the images and construct their own narrative.
